I painted a friend of mine. 

He kept me company one evening. We spoke about awful events. 

It might have been the first time we met since the period of time when my light was out. 

Luckily, fucking luckily we got to meet again.

He was actually the first buyer of my art. Bargained down the price. Annoyed me as anything. He came to collect and we became friends instantly.
