"Det tog sin tid att bli stor" (100x80cm)

This is my first large canvas. Started on it back in 2013. Some friends and red wine.

To experiment, explore. Now in 2023, the final version is here!

I remember that the detail in the bottom right corner turned out way too good back then. It left me with a grand amount of hope but also with delusion. How could I replicate that? Come near that again?

I couldn't. At least not for almost a decade.

As pretentious as a young, seeking person can be, I wrote "La Vie En Rose" accompanied with a wave of notes.

Red-pink background, a bouquette of roses(I still love roses) and a weird detail oftenly asked if its Mozart or something. It's actually Louis XVI and I can't remember why.

Anyhow, several versions later - here it is.

Since drawing and painting only been a true part of my life the last 5,5 years. Here I sit and type this. Proud and motivated.
