"Jag är mer rädd för mig själv än eld" (50x70cm)

I have decided to finally share this piece with you.
A dear friend of mine onced asked me "What would you do if your home danced in unstoppable flames?". I became speechless. My whole system blinked. All my art, clothes and things in waste, vanished forever. I answered "I think I would lay down in my bed and let it surround me". He laughed out loud. Shortly after his face fell serious. "You don't mean that, do you?".
"It's what I feel and since the question is hypothetical a guarantee won't be included".

I have been more afraid of myself than the fire. Almost as it was welcome so I didn't had to end me on my own. An excuse. A friend you can't call because you lack their number.

My eyes are smiling now. Sometimes I find it hard to sleep when I'm eager to see the next day.
